THE GOODSYARD

For a new housing and commercial development in the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham we were asked to come up with an eye catching design that was representative of the area. Having lived around the corner I was aware of the seagulls that have made the JQ their home and are apparently the top third reason why people leave this area. Rather than try and disguise this I came up with a design that had these mischievous birds collecting the gems and other items the area is renowned, keeping to a primary colour palette that matched the colours of the Birmingham flag. All digitally designed and then printed onto vinyl.
