WINDOW ART

For temporary/semi-temporary visual interventions, window art can be a non-invasive and highly effective medium that can transform a space, draw the eye, communicate a message or reinforce an identity or theme. I collaborated with the clients to produce statement artworks that were designed with the viewers experience in mind. Through undertaking a thorough understanding of the business/organisation and guiding the clients through a simple design process, I have had returning employment, window artwork developed into branding and permanent murals and been approached to help consult with projects.

For four years I was part of a creative duo called Window Artists, designing and installing window art around the UK, working with institutions such as the National Trust, English Heritage, as well as galleries, big brands and small independent businesses. My duties included all design work, client liaison and installation. I work solo now, sometimes employing trusted assistants, mostly working in acrylic pens, paints and vinyl.
